  • Something for you to think about > >> Cell Phone vs. Bible
I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones? What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to kids as gifts? What if we used it as we traveled? What if we used it in case of an emergency? What if we upgraded it to get the latest version? This is something to make you go...hmmm...where is my Bible? Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't ever have to worry about our bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill!

  • This past week i went to somthing called the YES Conference (Youth Equiped to Serve) in Nashville Tennessee @TNU. Trevecca is my dream school. This week i learned to trust fully on God, trust Him so much that i'm gonna put my all out there and if God doesn't show up i fall flat on my face, but when he does He's gonna take me places i never dreamed of going. It took this past week and some totally life changing experiences, and the formation of some AMAZING friendships to make me realize i have no reason to be afraid. And now i KNOW God has design me to be a Youth Pastor. Yes, i have a computer talent that i still want to use for Him and that i'm sure he'll allow me to use, but my main purpose... my main function on this planet is to bring youth to Him.  i want to start now and by the graces of God i will.

All I can do is smile at the amazing changes God has allowed in my life.
